Scholarship

Hello,

On behalf of the President and Executive Board, I would like to welcome you to the Scholarship Committee webpage.

The goal of the Scholarship Program is to provide financial assistance to worthy young men and women regardless of ethnicity, race, religion or national origin. The criteria focuses on helping young men and women that have shown that they have a strong sense of community through public service, academia, and have a desire to pursue higher education that will empower them to become future leaders of America. The Raymond Dean Hardy and David L. Lewis Scholarship Awards will be given in honor of the men that gave unselfishly to public service and served courageously as military and law enforcement personnel and were strong educators and advocates of the empowerment of youth. The Lula P. Maxie Community Service Scholarship Award will be given in honor of a woman that gave unselfishly to her community and was known as a saint to those that knew her due to her unboundless generosity to others. In order to ensure the success of the National Achievement Program (NAP), criteria have been established governing the application and selection process.

As the Committee Chairperson, it is my vision that the Scholarship Committee reaches its full potential. In order to accomplish this, NAADHS is seeking members willing to accept the challenge of building futures through financing gifted minds. We challenge all NAADHS members to accept this invitation to participate in making NAP a success.

We are encouraged and excited about our mission to serve tomorrow’s leaders today through scholarship awards. We look forward to partnering with you to accomplish our goals.

As Alexander Hamilton so eloquently stated, “Those who stand for nothing may fall for anything.” Get involved the success of NAADHS depends on it!
