Membership Types

Regular
Must meet all of the General Requirements;
Must be a current employee of DHS or any legacy agency that comprises DHS.
Must be a retired employee of DHS or retired employee of a legacy agency that comprises DHS.
Must submit a written application for membership.

Associate
Must meet all of the General Requirements;
Must be, or have been, a law enforcement officer, or other individual who actively supports the primary purpose and objectives of NAADHS.
Must submit to NAADHS a written application for membership, and be approved by the Executive Board.

Honorary
Must meet the General Requirements, but is exempt from dues and assessments.
Must be a person who has made, or is making a significant contribution in keeping with NAADHS’ primary purpose and objectives;
Must be nominated by a member of NAADHS who is in good standing;
Must receive a majority of all votes cast by NAADHS members;
Honorary membership will be valid for a period of two (2) years, unless extended by vote of the membership.

Corporate
Must agree with, in principal, the purpose and objectives of NAADHS;
Must be nominated by an eligible NAADHS member;
Must receive a majority of all votes cast by the Executive Board.
